Virginia Fisher is a seasoned journalist with more than 20 years of experience writing, copy editing and managing news content on multiple media platforms. Virginia most recently worked as an Executive Producer at FOX61-TV in Hartford, overseeing the daily editorial process for television and web.

She has worked on award winning documentaries for Connecticut’s public television station and also produced LIVE town hall meetings on pressing social matters, such as obesity and the mortgage crisis.  She has also worked in Community Television, supervising a student-based journalism program that featured student reports that aired on community access.

Years of interacting with newsmakers have made Virginia adept at conversing with educators, government leaders, corporate professionals and everyday heroes featured in newscasts. Her hands-on work in community television adds another dimension to her empathy of the challenges faced by the people who make up our communities.
